In this workshop we will explore what there is to find in our natural environment in the season of Summer. I will introduce you to the act of foraging consciously and sustainably according to the hunter-gatherer-way. We will start by identifying some beginners edible foods including greens, leaves, flowers and trees You will learn how to identify the plants, some of their ancient folk lores and how to work with them.

We will sit around a fire, make some wild tea to taste and craft with our findings.

Each workshop we will explore different plants and a different ancestral skill.What we learn depends on what we find. Skills include - making cordage, natural inks, drawing charcoal, jewellery.
In these workshops we will meet Nettle and discuss their many uses and forage some to practice making cordage.

Bring along a little basket to gather our findings.
Bring along a pair of tough gloves, like gardening gloves or tough washing up cloves - or even just a tough bit of fabric from an old pair of jeans.
Bring along a pair of clippers or tough scissors.

We will meet at 13.00 PM and finish at 16.00 PM. I will send you the meeting location and more details once you have booked. There will be a maximum of 8 places.


This workshop is £20. If this cost isn't feasible, please get in contact and pay what you can.
